Soon after, April started to travel with her dad as well as write her songs in NY and LA. April also included additional topics in her hit song"Take my Hand. Lockhart is a popular figure and works as an online lifestyle blogger for the renowned Ilia Clean Beauty brand. The truth is that she was born without a left hand and that is what makes her different. But this isn't the only characteristic of her. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't just focus on her disability. What message is it trying to convey? It is important to remember that each of us has numerous faces. Our identities vary and we're much more than our bodies. Lockhart tells Lockhart via video "I do not believe that disability is what defines my character. It's not my intention to have an impact on disability because I have so much more to offer." This doesn't interfere with my daily life. All is well and I have learned to adjust. However, it's a component of me, so I believe that it's crucial to speak about. Self-acceptance is a lifelong marathon however Lockhart is an absolute inspiration for this aspect. She admits that she's been through phases of her body and sometimes being unsure about wearing particular types of clothes that showed off her arms. She can wear whatever she'd like, and proudly shares photos of her dressed in her favorite outfits. She says that self-love is a journey. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the end. It's true for all regardless of levels of anxiety. It's important to be around those who are able to know you.
